Amazon shoppers have been racing to buy a ‘bargain’ 6ft Christmass tree for just £35 ahead of the festive rush, with many praising its full branches for looking ‘expensive’

It might be a little too early to start thinking about putting up your Christmas tree, but it’s definitely not too early to snap one up before the major pre-December rush begins. If you’ve been looking for one that won’t break the bank whilst still looking thick, expensive and realistic, then one bargain hunter has found the perfect one.

One bargain hunter in the Extreme Couponing & Bargains Facebook group shared that they had bought the six foot tall Snowtime Colorado Spruce Green Artificial Christmas Tree from Amazon, and were raving about how good it is. The shoppers wrote: “If anybody is looking for a really nice (but bargain!) Christmas tree I highly recommend this one!”

Lego’s Christmas range has dropped and it features a buildable gingerbread house for £35

Cadbury’s huge Dairy Milk bar is now £9 cheaper than supermarkets like Asda and Tesco

They added: “I took a chance and ordered it on Amazon and it’s amazing! 7ft tree for £25 it looks super expensive and isn’t a slimline one so looks very traditional!”

Although the bargain seven foot version the shopper snapped up has now sold out, you can still snap up either a six foot version for £34.99, or an eight foot one for £59.95. Considering many trees of this size can easily set you back over £100, the Snowtime Colorado Christmas Tree is still a total bargain.

What makes this such a great pick for the festive season is its fullness. Unlike other budget-friendly trees which can be very sparse or slim, the Snowtime Colorado Christmas Tree has a diameter of 42 inches at the bottom, with densely packed branches which give you plenty of space to hang all of your ornaments.

The tree also comes in four foot and five foot heights, with both of these and the six foot tree having a lightweight plastic stand, whilst the seven foot and over trees come with a slightly more solid metal stand. The tree is easy to put together with a quick assembly design that simply slots together, with individual branches which can be adjusted and placed to create the look that you want.

If you’re already dreading unwinding your fairy lights, Dunelm also offers a 7ft Pre-Lit Western Pine Christmas Tree for £99 which is decorated with warm white lights. You could also opt for something even more realistic with Christow’s Pre-Lit Nordmann Fir Christmas Tree , which is £129.99 for a six foot tree, and gives you the option of switching between colourful and warm white lights.

If you’re looking to blow the budget, Balsam Hill’s range of artificial trees are a great place to shop. Their trees are some of the most realistic looking around, and you can choose from pre-lit, un-lit, broad, narrow and all sorts of styles.

However for a bargain, the Snowtime Colorado Christmas Tree has gotten rave reviews from Amazon shoppers. One said: “The tree is very good quality, is really full and looks lovely. Doesn’t go back into the box properly as it comes very thin but this is minor. Well worth it.”

Another chimed in: “Arrived on time, neatly packed and easy to assemble. Took a little time to spread out the branches but once done it looks fab. A nice large full tree. Quite realistic and very sturdy. Fantastic value for money and the storage bag is a bonus! Can’t wait to decorate!”

However, one was less impressed, writing: “Very flimsy. Shed an excessive amount of needles. Not strong enough to hang anything but the lightest of baubles on the branch tips and was overladen just by hanging two sets of lights on it. Immediately returned for full refund.”

Someone else wrote: “Good tree for the money. Easy to set up. Not quite as full as the photo suggests but by no means sparse especially when decorated.”

Meanwhile another praised: “Honestly considering it’s only £36, this tree is really decent! A couple of the tiny branches fell off while I was assembling but it’s really minor, once you spread out all the branches it looks really full. I will say it’s more of an artificial green than in the photo, and it doesn’t look quite as full, but it’s still a great tree.”

With another adding: “The tree is easy to assemble and the thickness is excellent considering the price point. Great value for money.”

You can shop the Snowtime Colorado Christmas Tree in various sizes at Amazon now.
