Zara Tindall was spotted at Cheltenham Festival carrying Strathberry’s chic burgundy clutch bag, and you can still shop her exact look for under £300
If there’s one event that’s always top of Zara Tindall’s social calendar, it’s Cheltenham Festival. The royal is a regular attender of the event year after year, so it’s no surprise that she knows a thing or two about creating the perfect Cheltenham outfit.
This year, Zara opted for a chic tailored outfit with a grey pinstrip trouser suit and co-ordinating burgundy accessories, including a fascinator and handbag. We’ve always been a big fan of Zara’s handbag collection, and this one was no different as she toted the Croc-Embossed Leather Burgundy Stylist bag from Strathberry.

Despite its royal approval, Zara’s Burgundy Stylist bag is actually very affordably priced at £295, and is a great versatile pick that can be worn both day and night. Although she opted to carry it as a clutch bag, it has a detachable gold chain strap that allows you to wear it as a shoulder or crossbody bag too.
It’s made from 100% calf leather with a textured crocodile-effect embossed onto it, giving it an elevated look. Gold hardware details also give it a luxurious, high end appearance that was perfect for the event.
Although it’s made from real leather, it still has a soft structured design that’s easy to carry, and is deceptively spacious inside. You can also choose from 12 other colours, including a black croc-embossed version, a snake print design, and more simple smooth-finished leather colours like white and tan.
Strathberry shoppers have also given it high praise, rating it 4.9 out of 5 stars. One wrote: “I love my beautiful bag. It’s the perfect elevated neutral for my casual or dressy looks… this style bag is that elegant, quality touch that makes your outfit just right… LOOOVVVEEE IT.”
Another added: “Gotta say love my new bag, as do my friends. Works well for work or outings – day or evening. Unusual, yet a classic. I’ll definitely be back to grow my bag collection.”
One did say: “Simple and light. Printing is nice, just wished the leather was more durable.”
But another couldn’t stop praising it, adding: “I absolutely love this bag. It surprisingly fits an impressive amount of items and I’m so pleased with this purchase. Will absolutely purchase in other colors. I’m so in love with its style, grace and beauty. Truly crafted as a work of art.”
Other sought after bags in Zara’s collection include Fairfax & Favor’s Loxley Crossbody Bag, which Zara wore to Cheltenham races earlier this year. She was also spotted with the Lottie Bag in Black Pebble from Aspinal of London last month as she attended an event in Australia.
