Maya Jama has starred in JD Sports’ new 2024 Christmas advert alongside her mum and brothers, and you can shop her head-to-toe Adidas outfit from £60 ready for the festive season

JD Sports: Maya Jama and Central Cee star in Christmas 2024 advert
‘Tis the season for Christmas adverts and JD Sports has just unveiled its 2024 video featuring a whole host of famous faces and their families, including DJ and presenter Maya Jama. The theme of the JD advert is family, with Maya starring alongside her mum, Sadie, and brothers Che and Omar to remind watchers what’s really important over the festive season.
For her appearance in the Christmas advert, Maya wore top-to-toe outfits from Adidas, featuring two different tracksuits and two different pairs of trainers from the brand, including some pieces which are exclusively available at JD. The advert has already been raved about by fans on YouTube, with one person saying: “These JD adverts always light me up. It’s like the streets are being recognised for what it’s known for. The community,” whilst another simply added: “I love this.”

For her part in the advert, Maya was spotted hopping into the back of a car with her family wearing the adidas Originals Velour Firebird Track Top, £70, and the matching Velour Track Pants, £60, both of which are only available at JD Sports. The tracksuit is made from a super soft black velour, with a classic 90s silhouette of wide leg trousers and a high-neck zip up jacket.
The matching set is already selling quickly, and not only would it make a great Christmas present but it’s also perfect for feeling cool and comfy over the festive season. Maya paired it with a pair of adidas Originals Campus 00s Women’s Trainers, £90, which have a similar 90s vibe and are already selling fast on the JD website.
Alongside her appearance in the advert, Maya also featured in the JD Sports campaign in another full ‘fit from Adidas. Maya was photographed alongside her brothers wearing the cream version of the £60 adidas Originals Cosy Logo Crew Sweatshirt, which you can also get in black, and has a retro-inspired oversized logo embroidered on the front with a fleece finish. Super soft and cosy, this is definitely one item we’ll be wearing all through winter!
Maya paired her sweatshirt with another Adidas classic, the Oversized Firebird Track Pants. When you think of Adidas, these pants are probably the first thing you imagine, and their baggy fit and elasticated waist makes them perfect for lounging around post-Christmas dinner.
To complete her laid back look, Maya wore a pair of adidas Originals Gazelle Indoor Women’s in a white colourway with khaki green stripes. Gazelles have become one of the must-have trainer styles of the year, and this colour combo is perfect for nailing the trend whilst still keeping them timeless and versatile to style.
