The supermarket has slashed the price of the popular festive tipple, available for over 50% off for a limited time
Sainsbury’s shoppers can now buy a one-litre bottle of Baileys for just £10. The supermarket has reduced the price of the liqueur by over 50% for Nectar customers. Running from November 6 to November 17, the deal is available online and in Sainsbury’s superstores, but it excludes Scotland and local stores.
Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur is popular year-round, but it’s also a firm festive favourite for many. “We love it on desserts added to custards or over ice-cream, in coffee as well drinking it as it is,” said one happy reviewer online.
A second praised: “Delicious, silky smooth, creamy. Serve with ice for that special clinking sound. Tastes like Christmas in a glass.” Someone else penned: “Who doesn’t enjoy a Baileys over ice? So good! Bought for Christmas but have already opened the bottle!!”

Another fan added: “It’s a great evening when you crack open the Baileys! I have to save it for the perfect Wintery night when the weather is cold but my house is cosy and warm. It’s delicious in hot chocolate/coffee but equally as nice chilled in a nice fancy glass. Very creamy, therefore very delicious.”
However, a dissatisfied customer claimed: “Bailey’s has always been a firm favourite of mine and I always buy a couple of bottles whenever it is on special. Unfortunately, the last couple of times I’ve purchased it it appears to have been watered down, not thick and creamy as it should be.”
The drink previously cost £21.95 at Sainsbury’s. Baileys fans will also find the 1L liqueur on sale for £13 from Asda, £13 from Amazon, and £13 from Ocado.
Additionally, Ocado stocks Baileys Chocolat Luxe Cream Liqueur for £20. Other sweet options include the M&S Collection Tiramisu Flavour Irish Cream Liqueur for £15 and M&S Millionaires Irish Cream Liqueur for £12.
