Shoppers have been raving about the floral ‘tea dress’ that has been reduced
Sainsbury’s customers have been heaping praise on one of its dresses following a recent price reduction. Some are claiming it’s “perfect” for the summer months, with fans of the style saying they “could wear it anywhere”.
The supermarket stocks a wide range of dresses online, with several marked down from their original price. One that has caught the eye of scores of shoppers is the Blue Floral Print Midaxi Tea Dress.
Ordinarily retailing at £22.50, the dress has been slashed to £15.75 in an online sale, with sizes available from six to 20. The pink and white version has also been reduced to the same price, though at the time of writing, it is only available in a size 12, reports the Express
A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “From our latest summer edit, this blue tea dress comes in an angelic floral print and a flattering midaxi length. Complete the summery look by pairing it with mule sandals.”
Similar summer dresses can be found elsewhere, including Boden’s “forgiving” around the tummy style or a “lovely” £12 Asda dress shoppers are “absolutely falling in love with”..
However, bargain hunters may find the Sainsbury’s deal hard to beat. One customer who snapped up the £15.75 dress said: “I am so pleased with my purchase, the material is such a good quality.
“This is a dress you could wear anywhere. The length was a long on me but it was easy to take up. It is really comfortable to wear.” Another reviewer wrote: “Pretty dress with lightweight fabric. A good length and fitted shape.” A third put: “A lovely comfortable fit in a beautiful shade of blue. The fabric doesn’t appear to crease either.”
One more shopper shared in their review: “Perfect dress for the summer. It fits well and could be smartened up for weddings or worn dressed down with trainers.”
However, while most reviews were overwhelmingly positive, some customers had reservations. One shopper claims: “Unfortunately, like a lot of Tu dresses, this was too long.” Another put: “Had to return as the neckline wasn’t great.”
On the whole, buyers were largely satisfied with their purchase. One customer wrote: “Great fit with an invisible side zip, unbelievable value. Material looks lovely and expensive.”
Someone else said: “The texture is lovely and it’s a light drape dress that hangs well. Pattern is pretty, length is great and comfortable.”
