Shoppers say the new activewear set ‘looks so good’ and comes in a ‘perfect’ colour
Primark is selling a ‘perfect’ £19 activewear set that’s been compared to a high-end brand. The fashion retailer has a reputation for selling affordable clothing, and the store’s outfits often go viral on social media. Now, Primark’s fitness range is catching attention. One shopper has even suggested the activewear is perfect for people who ‘want the Alo look without the Alo price’.
The praise comes from a shopper who posts on TikTok under the username @Thelsedit. Taking to the platform, the fitness fan shared a video trying on several pieces from Primark’s new activewear line.
She started with the £10 Rita Ora Scoop Back Performance Tee and the £12 Rita Ora Mid Rise Performance Leggings, which would total £22 when purchased as a set, before trying on the top with the £9 Rita Ora High Waisted Active Shorts, which would total £19 when purchased as a set.
While she didn’t compare the set to any particular Alo pieces, shoppers could expect to pay £68 for the brand’s Alosoft Back For More Tee, for example. As well as £82 for the 7/8 High-Waist Airbrush Leggings, which are currently on sale.
In her video, Thelsedit said: “Sorry, but when was anyone gonna tell me that Primark is now doing Alo-style activewear? Of course, I had to go and pick up a few bits, so here is my review.
“First, I grabbed this gorgeous open-back T-shirt. It’s giving clean, expensive Pilates-girl vibes and was only a tenner, which is an absolute steal. I then grabbed these leggings, which actually shocked me because I never usually get on with Primark leggings, but the material is super thick and feels really high-quality, all for only £12.
“The waistband is extra thick, sucks you in, and they have pockets. And then last, I tried the shorts, and the fit of these is so flattering.
“The same thick waistband stays in place and highlights all of the right areas, if you know what I mean, and these were only £9. So if you love the Alo-style look but not the prices, this is definitely your sign to run to Primark.”
In her caption, the shopper added: “POV: you want the Alo look without the Alo price.” Shoppers loved what they saw. Replying to the post, one fan of the look said: “Omg I loveee the colour”, and Thelsedit replied: “Isn’t it so perfect!”
Someone else commented: “Looks very good and the price wowee.” Another fan wrote: “Ohhh I love the red on you! Amazing sets! Such great finds! Loveee.”
A different viewer shared: “Ohhh I love the red on you! Amazing sets! Such great finds! Loveee.” More praise read: “Primark is soo good atm,” and the shopper replied: “Isn’t it!! I was so impressed!”
