The discounted beauty device has left users feeling “more radiant”
Spa facials and beauty injectables can help tighten the appearance of skin, but a more affordable device is catching beauty fans’ attention for its face-sculpting benefits. Some impressed users ‘instantly notice less puffy skin’.
The TheraFace Depuffing Wand uses cold and heat treatment to help reduce face puffiness, giving users a more chiselled look as it helps boost lymphatic drainage. As it drops below £100 in a sale, users rave that ‘not only does it help reduce swelling’, but their ‘skin is firmer and looks more refreshed’.
As well as puffiness, the tool helps with dark circles and enhances radiance thanks to the mix of settings. Its cold therapy helps reduce puffiness and minimise pores, the heat boosts circulation and brightens dull skin, while its massage settings encourages lymphatic drainage.
The device usually sells for £120, but it’s been cut in price to £99 at Therabody in its Spring Sale. This has led to massage devices becoming much cheaper to buy, including the WaveSolo, which uses vibration therapy to help with aches and pains.
Magnitone’s Pebble Pro is another beauty gadget that helps stimulate skin and the lymphatic system. Now £80.99 at Boots, this uses a mix of microcurrents and LED red and blue light. This is similar to the CurrentbodySkin RadioFrequency tool, £299, which also tightens the skin.

The depuffing beauty tool uses a mix of cold and heat therapy to boost circulation and help tighten the skin. A non-invasive way for users to tighten their skin at home.
Unlike rival gadgets, the TheraFace has a slimmer design (as opposed to Magnitone’s round Pebble tool) with a curved shape to help reach face crevices. The ‘easy-glide’ applicator tip is said to be handy for under-the-eye and jawline.
As the brand states: “The contoured tip is also designed for heated lymphatic massage movements around the eyes and face, with visible results after one treatment.” We’ve not yet tried this device so we can’t test Therabody’s claim that it only takes one treatment to see improvements, however users of the device have noted quick results.
One impressed buyer said: “The wand is easy to handle, and the results are almost instant. It’s definitely a skincare tool I can’t imagine being without now.”
Another user said they were ‘obsessed’, highlighting that they hadn’t been using it long but already seen a difference. They explained: “I am someone whose face is very flushed, hot and puffy in the morning, and this immediately tightens and relieves those symptoms. I noticed it helps reduce my redness, and my under-eyes definitely appear brighter.”
A different customer wrote: “It’s been great with sculpting my face and lymphatic drainage.” They highlighted another use for the device, which may not be known to everyone, as they explained how it has also helped ‘bring pimples down’ seemingly helping with inflammation.
Not everyone has seen such instant results, as the following reviewer noted: “The hot and cold feature feels really nice, not too hot and not too cold. I don’t suffer from too much puffiness, so I can’t talk about effectiveness on that. But I used this on areas of discolouration and didn’t see any differences. That being said, it can take several months for skin to change so I will continue to use it and update if it does end up working on discolouration.”
Another user highlighted that it may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin, as they said: “I could barely handle the lowest setting due to sensitive skin. It feels nice and is a good massage for the face. I did not notice any long-lasting effects for depuffing.”
