Popeyes has left fans in a frenzy after a brand new menu shakeup which means one popular menu item from the breakfast menu is available all day – but there’s one condition
Popular fast food chain Popeyes has delighted fans with a brand new menu switch-up, making a fan-favourite addition from the breakfast menu available all day. The Louisiana fried chicken chain excited fans with the news that their hash browns can now be ordered at any time.
Most people will agree that hash browns from any fast food restaurant are always a win, and now you can demolish one alongside your burger, rather than just with a breakfast meal – but there is a catch. Even though the hash browns from Popeyes are delicious, you have to order a certain burger to get your hash brown too.

Customers are able to order hash browns on their own with any breakfast meal as a side, but as soon as it gets to lunchtime or later, the hash browns will only be available as part of a the new Superstack range from the chain. This new range is a twist on the popular chicken sandwiches, and the hash browns are packed into the burgers instead of on the side.
Those who order a Superstack Chicken Sandwich will receive a fried chicken breast with the iconic Crunch, a hash brown, a slice of cheddar cheese, fresh pickles and mayo all stacked up inside a brioche bun and you can opt for the Spicy Chicken Sandwich option if you prefer to turn up the heat.
The new Superstacks can be ordered individually or as part of a meal, with prices starting from £6.99 for the sandwich, and £8.99 for a regular meal. A box meal is £11.29.
Dave Hoskins, head of food at Popeyes UK said: “The Popeyes hash brown is a certified fan favourite, with almost a million flying out restaurant doors across the UK since the breakfast menu launched in 2024. And with our internet-breaking Chicken Sandwich selling over 150,000 nationwide each week, it was only right we combine these two icon-status items for a whooole lotta bite. Now, fans can amp up the famous Popeyes Chicken Sandwich by ordering from the Superstack range – for just £1 more.”

It seems as if Brits can’t get enough of the chain, as Popeyes announced plans to open at least another 45 restaurants in the UK. Dubbed “way better” than KFC, Popeyes opened its first restaurant in the UK in 2021 and now has 65 locations across the country. But in an update released this week, Popeyes says it wants to open more sites and expand in cities including Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool and London.
This will include eat-in restaurants, drive thru sites, and delivery kitchens. The openings will create approximately 2,500 new jobs across the UK as the business targets sales of more than £200million in 2025. Tom Crowley, CEO Popeyes UK, said: “2025 is set to be another incredibly exciting year for Popeyes UK, building on the significant successes our team generated in 2024 as we ended the year with an annual sales run rate of £150million.
