Witnesses have said police told residents to ‘go back inside’ and stay in their homes in Plymouth with officers performing ‘welfare checks’
A residential street has been placed in lockdown today. A police cordon is in place in Plymouth with police and ambulance crews seen on Endeavour Court in Stoke amid an ongoing incident in the area.
Multiple witnesses have told PlymouthLive emergency services are at the scene.
A resident says police are doing ‘wellness checks’ on residents in the flats but refusing to provide any information about what has happened and whether anyone else is at risk, reports PlymouthLive.
And one local said a cordon is in place near one of the garage sections of the flat complex.
They added there are “police cars and vans, tape and a scene guard” in the street. Another person said: “Police and ambulances at Endeavour Court.”
The nature of the incident is not known at this time.
