Crash at busy iconic junction leads to travel chaos
A car has smashed into the iconic Picadilly Circus fountain this morning, causing travel chaos around the busy central junction.
According to reports, the vehicle ploughed into the landmark, flipped over and hit the fountain.
The junction itself is now completely closed with a large police cordon surrounding it, while the underground station is partially shuttered.
