Parkdean Resorts has launched its 2026 festive staycation breaks across eight UK holiday parks, with five-night stays from £499 including pantomimes, skating rinks and Christmas markets
As much of the UK reaches for SPF and fires up the barbecue during what’s been one of the hottest weekends of the year so far, one holiday company is already looking ahead to a very different kind of getaway. With 215 days until December 25, Parkdean Resorts has officially launched its 2026 festive staycation breaks, with families being urged to book early for its popular Winter Wonderland experiences across the UK.
The holiday park operator is promising everything from pantomimes and skating rinks to festive markets, Breakfasts with Santa and even snow sports, with breaks starting from £499 for five nights. Available across eight holiday parks, the Christmas getaways are designed to offer families a ready-made festive experience without the stress of hosting at home.
Guests can expect twinkling lights, themed entertainment and festive food packages, alongside a range of free and paid-for activities aimed at toddlers, children and families. Among the parks taking bookings now are Ty Mawr Holiday Park in North Wales, with five-night stays from £559, and White Cross Bay Holiday Park in the Lake District from £499.
Families looking for a coastal Christmas can opt for Kent and Sussex’s Camber Sands Holiday Park, where breaks start from £509. Meanwhile, Dorset’s Warmwell Holiday Park offers one of the most activity-packed festive programmes from £1,044 for four nights.
Warmwell is also home to some of the more unusual Christmas attractions on offer, including skiing, snowboarding and a roller rink. This means families can enjoy a white Christmas feel even if the UK weather doesn’t cooperate.

Look forward to the ultimate festive experience and plan ahead and secure Parkdean Resorts’ Winter Wonderland break for 2026. Expect endless festive fun like interactive pantomimes, Christmas experiences, skating rinks, festive markets, and more.
Some of the other parks available include North Yorkshire’s Cayton Bay, Fallbarrow in the Lake District, Trecco Bay in Wales and Vauxhall in East Anglia. Entertainment across selected parks includes interactive family pantomimes, festive Milkshake! mornings for younger children, PAW Patrol meet-and-greets, skating rinks, Christmas markets and ‘Search for Santa’ immersive experiences.
Children can also take part in Elf Academy workshops, festive pottery painting, bauble making and chocolate-themed activities, while adults can browse festive markets or book Christmas Day lunch packages. It’s important to note that not every activity is available at every park.
In fact, there aren’t any activities available at Fallbarrow, which is worth noting to avoid disappointment if it were to be your destination of choice. That said, it does benefit from some breathtaking scenery, with Lake Windermere on the doorstep.
Elsewhere, at Alton Towers, festive breaks area available to book on selected dates from 27 November – 23 December from £96 per person. Their Santa Sleepovers include one day entry to the Theme Park, including CBeebies Land, a visit to Santa’s Grotto, live pantomime, entry to the splashtastic Waterpark, crazy golf and festive food and entertainment.
For November and December 2026, Haven will also be bringing festive fun to eight of their parks across England, Wales and Scotland, including Kent Coast, Seashore and Primrose Valley. There will be an opportunity to meet Santa at his Grotto, with a Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime and plenty of bookable activities to enjoy.
For those wanting to avoid cooking on December 25, Parkdean Resorts is also offering three-course Christmas lunches at most festive parks – excluding Farrowball and White Cross Bay – complete with traditional trimmings, and, importantly, no washing up afterwards. Guests are advised to reserve dining slots around six weeks before arrival due to limited availability.
The breaks line up neatly with the 2026 school holidays, with schools in England and Wales breaking up on December 21 and returning on January 4. While Christmas might feel a long way off during a May heatwave, the company says early booking is recommended as festive family breaks continue to grow in popularity.
