New Look shoppers have been left impressed by one of its dresses, as they say it’s “perfect” for summer. The high street store has plenty of dresses on offer.
However, the Frill Sleeve V Neck Midi Dress has stood out for many. It comes in five different colours and is currently 25% off.
The dress, which is usually £29.99 but currently £22.49, comes in black, brown, dark khaki, bright blue and coral. It is stocked in sizes six to 18.
New Look’s description for the dress reads: “This midi has frill sleeves and elasticated waist that creates a flowing silhouette. With a flattering v-neckline this dress is perfect for styling on casual days.”
Many shoppers have been happy with their purchase of the dress. One said: “Flattering dress Sized right Good quality.”
Another added: “I prefer to wear black dresses at home and when socialising. This is such a pretty and flattering dress. The sleeves cover the top of my arms beautifully. Love the button detail. I wear with flats but could be dressed up with accessories and sandals for a night out. This is my go to dress now!”
Someone else commented on the black version of the dress: “Great dress you can throw on and can hide a lower tummy bloat. Would love if it came in lighter spring colours!”
A fourth wrote: “Love this dress. The colour is lovely and the material is light. It will nice and cool in the summer.”
Despite the positive reviews, some shoppers weren’t so keen on the style of the dress. One said: “Quite dreary on. Feels like I’m on little house on the prairie…might be nicer with more colours with patters maybe. Had to return.”
Another added: “Look lovely on the model but I sized up and it was still tight in the wrong places and didn’t look as advertised.”
New Look isn’t the only high street store to sell similar dresses. Marks and Spencer has V-Neck Button Through Midi Tea Dress from Finery London in green, navy and cobalt for £49.
The dress comes in sizes eight to 24 with the option of petite or regular lengths. Meanwhile, Debenhams has V neckline Button Detail Satin Midi Dress in peach, wine, black and navy.
It comes in sizes extra small to extra large and is currently reduced to £42 from £56.
