How shoppers can keep their tools and gardening essentials ‘organised’ at home with the £4 item
Aldi is bringing out a new gadget that is designed to not only help keep garages and sheds ‘organised’ but also free up floor space. The budget supermarket launches new Special Buy deals twice weekly in the UK, with new products hitting the shelves every Thursday and Sunday.
The ‘Middle Aisle’ offerings are constantly changing, and since stock is limited, once an item is sold out, it typically won’t be available again. As part of its upcoming range of DIY products hitting stores this Thursday (August 6), shoppers can get a Brooms Holder and a Tools Holder for £3.99 each.
Aldi says both holders can be mounted on a wall, so shoppers won’t need to worry about cluttering their floors or taking up more space than necessary to store everyday items like brooms, shovels, rakes, and so on. Each holder is 50cm x 5cm, and comes with five individual hooks or grips.
In the product description, Aldi says: “Organise your space with ease. This broom and tool holder keeps tools neatly stored, accessible and off the floor. Suitable for handles with a maximum diameter of 35 mm (approx.)”
The holders are part of Aldi’s Gardenline collection. On the Aldi website, the store adds: “We update our stock checker frequently, but because our products are so popular, the availability displayed is just an estimate. To see exactly what’s on offer head to the middle aisle.”
Elsewhere, B&Q is selling a Rothley Zinc-plated Steel Spring Grip for £5.60. In the product description, it states: “This Rothley spring grip is made from zinc-plated steel for rust resistance and durability.
“Model H367XX is designed to hold items like brooms or tools securely in place on walls, ideal for garages, sheds, or utility rooms.” There are also various other options available on Amazon.
What other Special Buys are coming to Aldi this Thursday?
Aldi will also be introducing a variety of measuring tools, including a triangle rule and measuring tape, from £4.99. It says: “Measure with accuracy and confidence using this versatile assortment of measuring instruments. Ideal for home, school, office and professional use. It provides the essential tools for precise results every time.”
Shoppers will also be able to get a Solar Shed Light for £9.99. “Keep your shed bright day and night with a solar shed light that charges during the day and shines when you need it most. Easy to install and energy efficient”, Aldi says.
Another option is the Double-Sided PU High Performance Adhesive Tape for £1.49. Aldi says: “When ordinary tapes fail, performance takes over. Experience exceptional adhesion, durability and reliability on every surface.”
