A Facebook group member asked for help with ‘underboob sweat’ during the heatwaves – and the answers didn’t disappoint
If you regularly watch This Morning, there’s a good chance you’ll already know beauty expert Nadine Baggott, and perhaps even her hugely popular Facebook community page. The group, which has amassed more than 36,000 followers, has become something of a go-to destination for affordable beauty recommendations, anti-ageing advice and skincare tips shared by both Nadine and members themselves.
This week, one particularly popular discussion centred around underboob sweat, after a member asked the group for advice on reducing sweaty patches during this May heatwave. Posting to the page, they wrote: “looking for underboob sweat solutions – never had it before – I’ve tried medicated talc and deodorant isn’t working either.”
As you might expect, the subject of sweat during this hot weather has become very topical, with plenty of other users taking to the comment section to share their product tips.
One pens: “Liquid talc for babies,” to which second and third users ‘seconded’ the hack.
“I use cotton liners from Amazon,” says another. “Pop them under your bra, or, if you’re like and bigger busted, pop under boobs with no bra.”
A third user shared a similar suggestion, saying: “It’s a strange one but I’ve heard thin panty liners stuck to your bra with the absorbent side next to your skin might be worth a try.”

So what can be done about underboob sweat, according to the experts?
Unfortunately, underboob sweat is one of those summer problems almost nobody escapes once temperatures start climbing, particularly during heatwaves. Experts generally recommend focusing on moisture control first, whether that’s switching to breathable cotton bras, using sweat-wicking bra liners or applying anti-chafing balms and body powders designed to absorb excess moisture throughout the day.
Skincare can help, too. Dermatologists often suggest treating the area much like the rest of your body, keeping it clean, dry, and irritation-free, especially if sweat is causing redness or breakouts. Lightweight antiperspirants and cooling body sprays are also becoming increasingly popular for targeting sweat-prone areas beyond just underarms.
