Spotlight’s Water Flosser with UV Steriliser is already reduced from £69.99 to £54.99, but shoppers can get it for £46.74 with the code GLEAM15. This equates to a total saving of £23.25 or roughly 33%, but the code will expire on Sunday (May 31).
The Water Flosser is designed to target several areas of oral care, including early decay, bleeding gums, cavity protection and bad breath. It offers a deeper clean between the teeth and below the gum line where brushing and flossing can’t reach.
The gadget uses high-frequency water pulsations and variable pressure to remove plaque and LED UV technology that’s said to eliminate up to 99.9% of harmful bacteria. Elsewhere, Amazon has knocked £50.99 off the Philips Sonicare Cordless Power Flosser 3000 at £69 (was £119.99). This model is designed with an X-shaped tip that separates water flow into four jets, which is said to deliver a faster, deeper clean.
A more affordable option is the Oclean A10 AirPump Water Flosser for £29.99 (was £99.99) at Argos. This compact device combines pressurised air and water jets but may not offer the same power as more premium models.
Meanwhile, Spotlight’s Water Flosser with UV Steriliser has achieved a 4.8-star rating on Trustpilot after more than 320 reviews and has yet to receive a score lower than four stars. One five-star review says: “I have tried several water flossers, but this is the best one. Even my dentist said that my teeth and gums are the best they have ever been. 100% best on the market.”
Another says: “Really pleased with this, it’s easy to use and clean. I love the idea that bacteria are killed by the UV light function, and the pressure of the water is really good. Takes a little getting used to and getting the hang of it, but wow does your mouth feel super clean afterwards.”
