Marks & Spencer have shoppers rushing to get their hands on the supermarket’s brand new chocolate-covered sweet treat that one reviewer claims is ‘better’ than other alternatives
An M&S shopper was left impressed as she taste tested a brand new sweet treat that has just launched, and made others rushing to their closest stores to get their hands on them.
M&S is best-known to bringing great quality to their food products, whether that’s fresh produce, meat, or sweet treats. They’ve recently launched a brand new sweet treat in their freezer section that have shoppers running to get their hands on it. One of these people is Sherene Cyrus, who often takes to TikTok, where she has over 145, 800, to taste test new food products. In one video, Sherene is seen sat in her car as she went on to try the new frozen chocolate covered strawberries that can now be found in the freezer aisle of M&S food halls.
“So, I’ve just been into M&S and they have brought out chocolate fruits,” she said as she showed off the box of frozen chocolate covered strawberries. “These were £5.50, so they’re definitely a little bit steep in price.”
As she went on to open the pot, she soon revealed the frozen chocolate covered strawberries inside, which made Sherene point out that she thought there was a good amount of strawberries in the box. The supermarket have also released chocolate covered raspberries, as well as chocolate covered blueberries.
“I think you are supposed to leave them for 10-15 minutes before consuming, it’s only been about eight,” she said as she took a bite out of a strawberry.
And she didn’t hold back when she went on to share her review. Picking up another strawberry, she said: “They might just be the best chocolate covered strawberry that I’ve ever had.
She went on to compared them to Aldi’s equivalent, which she said were good but that the chocolate ‘tasted cheap’. Meanwhile, the branded TruFru equivalent she said were ‘incredible’, but not worth the high price point, with one bag often costing around £7.
However, the M&S alternative seemed to be the best of both worlds, as she praised the delicious chocolate covering. She said: “I literally have no complaints.”
“I can’t believe how nice they are,” she added as she went in for another strawberry.
Sherene wasn’t the only one impressed by the chocolate covered strawberries, as several viewers soon took to the comment section to share their thoughts, as many were desperate to try them.
“I’m going to M&S now to get this I know I’ll loveeee ie like ittt,” one person said. Someone else also shared: “Love M&S but I buy the ones from Asda and they’re really nice, they’re £4. In Asda.”
“Need to try these before they sell out,” a third person said.
M&S are currently selling the chocolate covered strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries in food halls across the UK. They’re also available to order through Ocado.
