With party season just around the corner, M&S has released a selection of stunning party dresses that are glam, flattering and easy to style – and this one is a total showstopper
With party season stepping into full swing this December, M&S is dishing out some serious glamour with its latest line of party frocks that promise both style and comfort. Star of the show? Their gorgeous Velvet Midaxi Column Dress in dusky pink that’s causing quite a stir at an affordable £45.
The dress is available across small, regular, and tall lengths, with sizes running from 6-22 for the regular fit. But you’ll need to dash – the tall and petite sizes are flying off the shelves. At this price we are hardly surprised!
Styled to perfection by a model sporting a glittery fringed bag, black heels, and hoop earrings, this number boasts a solid four-star rating and rave reviews from shoppers. One thrilled customer gushed: “Best buy ever. Figure flattering. I’m larger around my hips and tummy. Some magic knickers and this is so flattering. The deep dusty pink shade is lovely. Am off to buy the teal one as well if it hasn’t already sold out. I would also love it in black, please, MandS.”
Another chimed in: “Beautiful dress, comfortable to wear, felt great and got lots of compliments, great quality and washed up beautifully”, reports Birmingham Live.

Another chimed in: “Beautiful dress, comfortable to wear, felt great and got lots of compliments, great quality and washed up beautifully.”, reports Birmingham Live. A third shared: “Lovely dress, perfect for parties. Comfortable and easy to dress up with jewellery for the party season.”
Someone else commented: “Beautiful, flattering dress. Good quality velvet that falls perfectly. Incredible quality for the price.” And another added: “Great fit, good for day or evening wear. Really love it.”
However, one unhappy buyer is sending it back. They wrote: “I’m returning this because the fabric is a bit shiny, but mostly because I think it would look better on a taller person (I’m 5 ‘2″) I felt a bit swamped!” A second unhappy customer said: “Another dissatisfied customer said: “I didn’t try it on because I didn’t like the colour of the material. Although it felt soft and would hang well on a slim person, afraid that’s not me.”
