With temperatures heating up and holidays on the horizon, it’s the perfect time to give your skin a little glow, and Mrs Hinch has just the recommendation. Swearing by this fake tan for over 10 years, Mrs Hinch told her Instagram followers that her go-to bronzing buy is the Skin & Tan Dark Self Tanning Oil.
After being asked by fans what product she uses to get her natural-looking tan, she said, “I have been buying and using the same fake tan since 2025. I have tried others over the years, but nothing works like this for me personally. I even tanned myself with this the night before my wedding day, it never lets me down! Actually I don’t know what I’d do if it was ever discontinued”.
The tanning oil has a lightweight, silky texture that glides effortlessly onto the skin, resulting in a glowing tan that doesn’t need to be washed off. Mrs Hinch isn’t the only fan, either; the tan has racked up dozens of 5-star reviews. One shopper wrote, “It dried very quickly, and I was able to get dressed within minutes. Importantly, it didn’t transfer onto my clothing. The colour developed into a natural, golden brown that didn’t look orange at all, and at no point did it feel sticky or tacky.”
Another added, “One of the main things I noticed is how hydrating it feels. My skin felt soft straight after applying and still smooth the next day, which isn’t always the case with tanning products. It also gives a slight glow straight away, so it doesn’t look flat while you’re waiting for the colour to develop.”
While a third agreed, “Took this on holiday and it was honestly great. The oil went on really nicely, no streaks at all, and it gave me such a deep, even colour without needing to rinse it off.
