“Sleek, modern and way cooler than a toaster has any right to be.”
Shoppers have been singing the praises of a ‘modern’ toaster that can also cook pizza they say ‘is giving premium kitchen vibes’. This particular model is also on sale at Haier, which is knocking 50% off its I-Master Series 7 Two-Slice Smart Toaster.
Originally £159, it’s currently reduced to £79, a total saving of £80. As well as traditional sliced bread, this versatile toaster can cook a range of foods including waffles, bagels, tacos and pizza.
It boasts an extra wide slot with capacity for a larger variety of bread types, or two regular slices toasted side by side. The Haier toaster offers seven toasting levels and 12 pre-sets to suit a range of foods, with dedicated settings for sandwiches, pancakes, buns and toasties.
It also has an easy-to-use slide function providing the option to toast at different levels simultaneously. This is ideal for producing buns or bagels that are lightly toasted on one side and golden brown on the other.
The Series 7’s settings are displayed on a straightforward LCD screen, with a turnable dial letting users quickly scroll through different menu options. Unlike more basic models, Haier’s Smart Toaster also has a countdown timer so users know exactly when their toast will be ready, eliminating the need for any guess work.

Haier is knocking £80 off its I-Master Series 7 Two-Slice Smart Toaster that can also toast bagels, waffles, pancakes and pizza.
When it’s done, an electronic riser will smoothly lift the toast to a level where it can be easily and safely removed. It also has the capacity to save settings with its memory function, providing access to preferred toasting settings at the touch of a button.
With glass viewing windows on either side of the Haier toaster, users can keep an eye on their toast to ensure the perfect results. The window can also be removed along with a removable crumb tray for quick and easy cleaning.
Elsewhere, Yimbly customers can find a range of Smeg models at Yimbly, including the Retro Two-Slice Toaster at £149 (was £199.99). This model has a 1950s-inspired design and comes in a range of colours including black, red and antique white, but the price differs between each variant.
More affordable options are available at Amazon, where the Russell Hobbs Four-Slice Toaster is now £46 (was £69.99). While this model doesn’t have a viewing window, its ‘Lift and Look’ lever lets users check their toast mid-cycle without interrupting the process.
As for Haier, more than 40 customers have awarded the I-Master Series 7 Two-Slice Smart Toaster an average 4.2-star rating, with some hailing it as ‘an asset’ to their kitchen.
“Sleek, modern and honestly way cooler than a toaster has any right to be,” one five-star review says. “It toasts evenly, pops up smooth and has enough settings to go from lightly warmed to crispy golden perfection. The design is giving premium kitchen vibes, the controls are super intuitive, and it handles sourdough slices like an absolute champ.”
Another says: “The toaster is so easy to use, the toast was crisp and crunchy and perfect on number three. Love the look and the viewing window, an asset to my kitchen.”
However, the same Haier customer also found certain settings ‘difficult’ to use, adding: “The programming [is] a little more difficult (I am an older user), wish the instructions were in written format. Got there in the end.”
Nevertheless, another glowing review says: “It’s brilliant, perfect in every way. It toasts evenly every time. I love the fact that you can see the degree of browning and stop when it’s done to your liking.”
