‘I used the full hair care set while I was away and I have come back from holiday so happy because my hair is still in wonderful condition despite being in the heat, swimming pool and sea’
While summer undoubtedly has its benefits, it can also wreak havoc with beauty routines, causing hair to become brittle and dry. Holidays can prove especially troublesome for locks, with the heat, chlorine and sea making hair prone to frizz and dryness.
Now, celeb-loved beauty brand Give Me Cosmetics has launched a huge summer sale, with 50% off almost everything on site. From skin and haircare to beauty tools, it’s a great time to invest in the essentials as the brand says the deals are bigger than its Black Friday offering. The brand are dubbing it a Cost of Living Crisis sale – making it easier for people to stock up on beauty during this tough time.
One standout buy is the Full Haircare Set which includes a sought-after hair mask loved by none other than Michelle Keegan, as shared in an ad on the star’s Instagram page. Famed for her luscious locks, the actress is known to count the product among her favourites.

It seems Michelle isn’t the only Give Me Cosmetics fan either, because beauty writer Nisha Mal tried out the set for the Liverpool Echo, and hailed it as ‘one of the best haircare lines I have used all year’ saying: “It’s very hydrating and nourishing, making it a godsend for coloured, bleached hair or people who use a lot of heat on their locks.
“I’m planning on buying a few more of these kits whilst they’re on sale to give as Christmas presents.”
Those who aren’t in the market for new haircare may wish to check out some of the other beauty buys in the Give Me Cosmetics sale. Also on offer is The Body Sprays Bundle (worth £80, now £22.50) and the Pick n Mix Glazed Lip Oil Bundle – Set of 4 (now £8, was £30).
The brand has also slashed the price of its Cost of Living Bundle (£15, was £32.50) which contains hair, skin and beauty essentials and fans say is ‘absolutely amazing’ and ‘worth every penny.’
Elsewhere on the high street, we’ve also spotted the Boots Spring Skincare Refresh Edit which is £30 but is worth £105.20. Meanwhile, LookFantastic is offering its Summer Edit with 20% off, now £36 down from £45.
Back to Give Me Cosmetics, and the Full Haircare Set has received rave reviews from fans. It boasts a five star rating from over 2.700 reviews, making it a popular choice.
One five star review reads: “Absolutely love this hair care kit! It’s worked wonders on my bleached hair, leaving it feeling so soft, healthy, and shiny.
“It’s also been amazing for my daughter’s hair, which gets dry from swimming – it’s much softer, easier to manage, and has a beautiful shine. Definitely a new favourite for both of us!”
Another raved about the haircare set for keeping locks in tip-top condition on holiday, writing: “A godsend for holiday hair. I got the Full Haircare Set as I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for quite a while now and I was running out.
“As I was going on holiday I decided to get the full hair care set as my hair can go quite dry in the sun and heat. I used the full hair care set while I was away and I have come back from holiday so happy because my hair is still in wonderful condition despite being in the heat, swimming pool and sea.
“I used the heat treatment spray every day and the serum was wonderful at keeping my hair lovely and soft and smooth – and got all the products in the box for such a good price.”
Whilst it’s tricky to find any negative reviews of the set on the Give Me Cosmetics website, it is worth noting that as with any beauty kit, some products may go unused if unsuitable for the user’s hair type. Give Me Cosmetics says the set is ideal for thick and dry hair so those with dyed hair and extensions may instead wish to opt for the £17.50 (was £35) Aloe Vera & Coconut Oil Full Haircare Set.
Meanwhile another said people had commented on their locks using the set, writing: “These items are excellent for your hair and kind to your scalp. I get compliments how shiny and healthy my hair looks, plus the products are affordable and smell lush as well!”
Someone else went as far as to hail the kit ‘the best set’ writing in their review: “Purchased this set to see if it was really as good as reviews have said and wow. My hair is in amazing condition since moving to the hair repair shampoo & conditioner.
“Teaming up with the mask, aftercare serum and spray has brightened up my hair massively! Have bought as gifts for my friends who have experienced the same uplift!”
