Police in Cambridgeshire launched an investigation after finding the man and woman dead in a house in March on Wednesday afternoon, with the deaths being treated as currently ‘unexplained’
A man and a woman have been found dead inside a property and their deaths are being treated as unexplained.
Officers at Cambridgeshire Police were called to the town of March on Wednesday afternoon after concerns were raised over the residents’ welfare. Sadly, the bodies of a man and woman were discovered inside the house on Norwood Road.
A spokesperson from the force said they were called to the address at about 1.47pm yesterday over a concern for welfare. Residents in the area took to social media to say ambulance and fire services were also present at the scene.
The spokesperson said: “Officers attended and a man and a woman were found dead inside the property. The deaths are being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing, with officers still at the scene.”
March is a small market town of around 22,000 people in the Isle of Ely area of Cambridgeshire, around 20 miles from Peterborough.
