The M62 in East Riding of Yorkshire is closed westbound between Junction 35 (East Cowick) and J34 (near Whitley).
The closure is due to a collision, debris and oil spill, on Friday, January 9.
The eastbound carriageway was blocked for an air ambulance to land, but all lanes eastbound have reopened.
Humberside Police are in attendance and National Highways traffic officers are on scene to assist with traffic management.
