Drivers face major delays this morning with a stretch of the M60 motorway partially shut after a car fire.
Pictures show the vehicle up in flames near the exit for Whitefield this morning (Monday, May 11). Two lanes have been shut off on the clockwise side of the motorway between junction 16 for Pendlebury and junction 17 for Prestwich and Whitefield.
Traffic is ‘very slow’ up to the incident, according to traffic alert service Inrix with motorway cameras showing queues building.
