A major motorway is shut due to a local sewage malfunction causing floods.
The M60 is closed anti-clockwise in Greater Manchester between junction 17 and junction 14 this morning (Thursday, January 15).
Overnight works being carried out on the carriageway are overrunning due to the unrelated flooding. The works were meant to be complete by 5am.
Delays are expected in the area and a diversion route will be in place.
