A crash has forced the partial closure of part of a major motorway and brought on two hours of traffic.
One lane on the M6 northbound is shut between Junction 12 (Gailey) and Junction 13 (Stafford South) in Staffordshire due to a collision this morning. National Highways said normal traffic conditions are expected to clear between 10.30am and 10.45am.
Separately, a broken down vehicle on the same northbound stretch has led to the closure of two lanes. The event is expected to clear between 9.30am and 9.45am, National Highways said.
