National Highways East said the delays were due to an overturned car.
“Traffic has been STOPPED on the #M40 northbound in #Oxfordshire between J10 (#Ardley) and J11 (#Banbury) due to a collision involving an overturned car,” it said. “Emergency services are attending the scene. Long delays are building on approach. More information to follow.”
