Drivers have been told to expect travel disruption on a busy motorway following a crash this afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the M1 in Leicestershire following the incident. Police closed the motorway in both directions between Lutterworth and Leicester in response.
Fire crews and an air ambulance were also deployed to the scene at around 12.20pm. The incident has caused queues to tail back on the approach to the motorway.
