When it comes to parenting, Louise Thompson knows how tricky it can be to navigate, especially when it comes to getting out of the door with minimal effort. But the former Made in Chelsea star has found the perfect outfit formula that makes it easy to get dressed in the morning so you can focus on getting your kids ready.
Louise posted the Instagram video writing: “POV: You finally found an outfit that’s chic and childproof,” before adding: “It goes without saying – the UGGs.” The main part of her go-to look is her cosy UGG Tazz II in Black which Louise has previously said she’s obsessed with, and is often seen pairing them with many of her autumnal outfits.

You can pick up Louise’s exact UGGs for £125, and they’re currently still in stock in all sizes from a 3 to an 8. If you’re on the fence about sizing, Louise said: “These are the Tasmans, the wedged ones. I would size up in these, I got a UK3 and they’re very snug, my other ones are a 4 and they fit me much better.”
Whilst Louise opted for the UGG Tazz II in the black colour, they also come in shades sand and chestnut, which are also both the perfect colours for autumn outfits. The slip-on style mules are easy for mums to throw on as they head out of the door, and give plenty of comfort and cosiness whilst you’re out and about running errands.
There’s currently only two reviews for the UGG Tazz II on Schuh, both of which are five star. One said: “Very good quality.”
Whilst another wrote: “I’m almost looking forward to the winter so as to gain the full benefit of these slippers. As I suffer from arthritis in my feet, the extra-thick sole and heel suit me down to the ground as they provide that much-needed insulation to prevent pain. The slippers are comfortable, practical and very well crafted. Thank you.”
Whilst they’re technically slippers, the UGG Tazz II feature a chunky platform EVA outsole which makes them totally wearable outdoors. They’re also fully lined with sheepskin and have a sheepskin insole, whilst the outers are premium suede, making them ultra warm and cosy during the colder months.

If you want something a little more protective, the Regatta Risley Waterproof Flat Mules are just £35 at Marks & Spencer. They come in four colours, and are finished with a protective waterproof coating to make sure they stay looking as good as new.
