The star admits her ‘under-eye area is a problem’
If you were to look at Louise Redknapp, you’d never guess she was 51 years old. However, the former Eternal singer admits to suffering from a very real problem that many of us also face as we get older: dark and heavy under-eyes. Speaking in a new clip posted to her social media accounts, Louise says: “My under-eye area is a problem for me. When I’m tired, they look quite dark, quite heavy.”
But refusing to suffer through the beauty, Louise has found a solution to temporarily brighten the area using Rodial’s cult favourite Banana Lowlighter. Usually priced at £36, it’s not the cheapest under-eye fix on the market. However, today, you can pick her go-to product for £24.95 – a sizeable £11 saving.
Expanding on her favourite product, Louise adds: “I’ve found the best lowlighter for your under eyes – it’s so easy to use. I put some dots all the way round, and you can really tell the difference when I’ve got it on. It really enhances the under-eye and brightens it. It works all day, and it’s so simple to do.

Finishing her tutorial by sharing the before and after from using Rodial’s Banana Lowlighter under one of her eyes, she raves: “The difference between the glow and brightness between these two eyes!”
It’s hardly surprising Louise has found a favourite in this Rodial buy. Plenty of other shoppers agree that it helps disguise the look of dark circles and dull skin with just a few dots.
Over on Lookfantastic, where the lowlighter is retailing for £38, one shopper writes: “Luminous. Brightens eye area without being heavy. Excellent product. I have been buying this for some time now and will continue to purchase.”
Another adds: “The best under eye concealer for stubborn dark circles,” with a third penning: “Best concealer you will ever use! Coming from a tired mum of 3.”
A few buyers point out that if you have dry skin, it’s best to properly moisturise the area first before using the product, to ensure it doesn’t pick up any texture.
If £24 is still out of your budget, Revolution’s Eye Bright Under Eye Corrector, at £8, also receives glowing reviews, with one Asos shopper saying they “wish they’d found it sooner”.
