Lloyds has issued an update to millions of customers
Lloyds Bank has alerted its millions of UK customers to the fact they won’t be able to withdraw cash over period a certain time this weekend. The banking giant took to X, formerly Twitter, on Friday to make people aware that it is updating some of its services over the coming days.
In full, the post reads: “We’re working on our services this weekend. It means you won’t be able to take money out from our or any other banks’ ATMs on Sunday 26th October for 90 minutes, from 1:45am (BST).
“Please make sure that if you need money, or any other ATM services, you use them before 1:45am.” It may also be worth remembering that the clocks go back at 2am this Sunday.
So once 2am hits, the time will revert to 1am. If you have a mobile phone or tablet, you shouldn’t have to change the time on it, because most digital devices with an internet connection will change automatically. If you have a clock or watch that isn’t connected to the internet, you will have to change the time yourself.
It is understood that other Lloyds services, such as online and app banking, will run as standard this weekend.
