The discount supermarket chain has brought back its “Spin to Win” competition for another year, which allows shoppers to win a £10 voucher every time they shop at Lidl. To enter, you will need to be a member of the supermarket’s loyalty scheme, Lidl Plus.
The Lidl Plus app – launched in 2020 – offers rewards each time it’s scanned at the checkout. Each week, customers also get new single-use personalised coupons to use on their next shop, with discounts of up to 25% on selected products. The app also offers the occasional freebie to shoppers.
To get the free £10 voucher, shoppers need only spend some money at the supermarket, with no minimum or maximum spend required. However, you will not be entered into the draw if you only buy alcohol, gift cards or infant formula. Once at the till, members need to scan their Lidl Plus app to unlock their daily spin.
The supermarket says one in every 10 customers will win the voucher each day, which means thousands could be in with a chance to win. According to the game’s terms and conditions, one in two of all Lidl’s Super Spins issued will contain a reward.
However, if you don’t win the top prize, you could also be in with the chance of bagging a few little extra treats. These include 15% off bananas, grapes, apples, oranges and easy peelers – to help get your new year off to a healthy start.
However, the Spin to Win game will not be around for long and will only be running for one week until January 15. You can play the game once a day, so over the course of the week, you have seven chances to win. According to the terms and conditions, there must be 24 hours between each Lidl shop to gain the spin. If you win the £10 voucher, it will appear in your Lidl Plus account under the “Coupons For You” section and expire in seven days. To use it, all you need to do is scan the voucher at the checkout when you do your next Lidl shop.
