Avengers Tower – £429.99
We have to kick off our epic LEGO set round-up with the incredible Avengers Tower set. Priced at £429.99, the set is designed for adults and is made up of 5,201 piece and a whopping 31 minifigures. This includes beloved characters, such as Captain America, Iron Man and Thor, plus the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige.
Marvel fans can recreate iconic scenes from the Avengers films inside and around the 90cm tall building. One side of the tower and the roof lift off to allow easy access to the interior, where there are numerous details and accessories from the MCU. A Leviathan, Quinjet and two Chitauri chariots await, ready for battle.
Over 160 LEGO shoppers have reviewed the Avengers Tower to date, with the set boasting an impressive 4.7 star-rating. One delighted buyer said: “The Avengers Tower is an iconic building both on screen and in the comic books and here in LEGO form it does not disappoint. This set appealed to me for many of the same reasons I enjoyed The Daily Bugle and The Sanctum Sanctorum, being full of excellent minifigures, references and a fun build experience while also seamlessly fitting in alongside the Creator Expert Modular line.
“This set is fantastic, it’s huge and it’s certainly the centrepiece for any LEGO Super Heroes collector. Definitely enjoyed my build which lasted around 16 hours from top to bottom. Would recommend to anyone who is a big fan of the Marvel brand.”
It’s worth noting, however, that some LEGO customers claimed the Avengers Tower set was missing some pieces. One person explained: “Great set with awesome details and mini figs. Five-star set, but some of the pieces were missing. I can’t complete the mini Queen Jet at all from bag 17. You don’t expect a fumble in quality in a set like this one.”

X-Men: The X-Mansion – £289.99
Fans of the X-Men can step into the world of the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning with this LEGO set. Based on the popular 1997 animated series, it costs £289.99 and contains hidden references to characters and scenes.
The X-Mansion is designed for adults and comprises 3,093 pieces with 10 minifigures, including Wolverine and Professor X. Inside the building are classrooms, a library, a danger room and Professor X’s ingenuous Cerebro invention.
Over 100 LEGO shoppers have reviewed the X-Men: The X-Mansion set to date, which has an overall rating of 3.9 stars. Sadly one person wasn’t completely satisfied, as they explained: “Kind of disappointed in the scale of the set, it’s smaller than expected, especially for being a mansion and the cost. It’s more expensive than the museum and has about 1,000 pieces less. I have been building LEGO for over 40 years and this is one of the first sets that I am really disappointed in.”
However, another buyer was thrilled: “Exceptional piece of art. I loved this set from the beginning, every detail and the Easter eggs. I agree with some hobbyists about the size, but honestly it has the most important elements that a X-Mansion could have and it definitely refers to the comics version of the X-Men, not the movies one, but the OG.”

The Avengers Assemble: Age of Ultron – £89.99
This adaptable LEGO set allows Marvel fans to recreate snowy battle scenes from the Age of Ultron film. The £89.99 set is designed for children over the age of 10 and includes eight minifigures, such as Thor and Captain America, and one big Hulk figure.

Dozens of LEGO customers have reviewed the set so far, with it boasting a 4.8 rating. One five-star review reads: “Being a Marvel fanatic, I knew right away I had to pick this up. It becomes such a nice display piece right next to the Spiderman Final Battle set. To me, it perfectly depicts the scene with great minifigures. I also like that you can customize the battle scene to your liking by moving pieces around.”
However, they did go on to highlight a slight downside: “My only complaint was that the build did not live up to the price.” Someone else agreed, saying: “The price does not validate the set.”

31 LEGO fans have reviewed the Avengers Helicarrier set so far. It has an overall score of 3.9, but unfortunately one buyer was left unimpressed, stating: “It looks nice when it is finished, but I was overall disappointed with this set. Too many stickers, overpriced for what you get, and it’s one of the few sets I regret buying.”
However, another customer was thrilled, writing: “The Avenger Helicarrier was so much fun to put together. My 10-year-old son and I put it together after dinner one night, and it was a great bonding experience. We both find LEGO therapeutic and this was the perfect activity for us.
“I really like the cool design of the Helicarrier and I love that it can be displayed as a cool decoration. The details make it look really unique as well. It’s durable and we easily transported it to his room to display it. I would definitely recommend the Avenger Helicarrier to other LEGO enthusiasts.”
