Instead of the original two-shade compact, the new palette features three cream shades – a base colour alongside warm and cool adjusters – allowing users to create a personalised match for different areas of the face. Whether concealing redness, dark circles, blemishes or hyperpigmentation, Laura Mercier states the formula delivers up to 16 hours of waterproof, sweat-resistant wear.

Returning to the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Complexion Perfector, another shopper explained: “I have used Secret Camouflage for as long as it’s been around – and it always delivers. It never settles in fine lines and I will never settle for less. I am never without my BBF. It’s perfecting, buildable yet sheer, always natural and dewy and lasts all day. It allows my skin to be the star, not the makeup.”
However, not everyone is happy with the size of the updated product, noting it is smaller than the original. Someone commented: “The product is good, except it is much smaller than before and the price is the same as before.”
A second person left a mixed review, writing: “Effective, easy to blend with or without brush, can be worn with full make up or just by itself to cover dark spots or just with skin tints for a flawless look. I was very surprised on how versatile it was.
“Oh! and almost forgot doesn’t move or transfer. I randomly bought it online and color was miraculously a perfect match. Only con is, it’s quite small.”
