Still being asked for ID at 50, beauty lover Caroline has shared her secret to her youthful looks and claims it’s all thanks to one product to stop wrinkles forming – and it’s not Botox
A woman has revealed how her youthful looks means she’s still getting asked for her ID – despite turning 50 next year. Beauty buff Caroline Butler said she’s never had Botox or filler, but she uses just one product which she hails as her secret weapon for looking young.
The age-defying TikToker has amazed followers who can’t believe her age and that she doesn’t have any wrinkles, and she said it’s because she lathers on SPF100 on her face every single day – and claims it’s preventing lines forming on her face. She took to her platform to share her secret trick – and it costs just £22.50.

Caroline, who goes by the username @caroline.shops said the Eucerin Sun Actinic Control SPF has saved her forking out for Botox and said: “I’m turning 50 years old next year. I’ve never had Botox. I have never had any fillers. In fact, I’ve never had any sort of aesthetic surgery in my life. No, I do not have a filter on.”
She then beamed: “In fact, I sometimes get asked for ID when I buy wine in the likes of Tesco!” She then detailed how she’s managed to be wrinkle free at 50 and said: “I wear either factor 50 or factor 100 on my face every single day, no matter what the weather,” adding: “I never ever sunbathe.”
When it comes to her favourite Eucerin product, she told her followers: “This is water resistant, it is fragrance free and it’s really lightweight on your skin. And wearing this will make sure you’re really well protected when you’re going out there this summer. Really lightweight and easy to apply and you don’t need very much.”
It can be bought from Boots, and the website said: “The higher the SPF, the more UVB-rays are blocked out – which are a major cause of cell damage. An SPF100 for example blocks out about 99 per cent of UVB-rays.”
But it’s not just lathering on the SPF for Caroline, she also makes sure she lives a healthy life in order to keep looking young. Caroline said she rarely drinks alcohol, has never smoked and is also a vegetarian.
Also single and has no kids, she said: “I’m a big believer in positivity, and I believe that if you keep a positive mindset, then it makes you more youthful.” However she also said that “inheriting pretty good genes” could have also helped her avoid wrinkles.
