Debenhams launched its huge Boxing Day sale earlier this week, offering huge discounts on fashion, footwear, watches, homeware and more. The online department store’s biggest-ever sale includes up to 75% off across its entire website and additional discounts off more than 10,000 lines.

As a shopping writer, I’ve covered many sales including Black Friday and Boxing Day. I’ve rounded up my top five picks from Debenhams’ sale extravaganza that I’d be snapping up if I was on the hunt for some new products.

STÜHRLING Original Lineage Ladies Quartz Watch – was £475, now £71.99
Debenhams has offered shoppers some incredible discounts on a variety of stunning watches this year. I used to wear a watch every day until it broke a couple of years ago and I’ve never replaced it, but the last few months I’ve been on the lookout for a new one.
When I spotted the glitzy STÜHRLING Original Lineage Ladies Quartz Watch on the Debenhams website, I couldn’t believe the huge 85% discount the retailer was offering. I love the sparkly crystals that adorn the sleek silver watch and think it’s perfect for wearing in the daytime and at night, making it a great investment. With a saving of £403.01, it really is a bargain too good to miss.
The watch has an overall rating of 4.4 out of five stars from 66 reviewers, with one delighted buyer saying: “I am really pleased with this luxury watch. Beautifully made.” Another added: “This is such a lovely watch, I’ve had quite a few compliments about it. Such a good price.”
Unfortunately one shopper wasn’t impressed, as they commented: “Disappointed. I felt the quality of the watch did not reflect the original cost. The inside of the clasp had rough edges and the item looked cheap. Also was far too big for me.”

Finding Friday Sequin Wrap Midi Dress – was £70, now £28
If you’ve got an evening occasion coming up, this beautiful sparkly silver dress is sure to be a showstopper – and it now has 60% off. The garment is available in sizes eight to 18 and has a flattering wrap design that allows you to cinch in your waist.
The stunning dress has long sleeves, a V-neckline and falls to an elegant midi length, allowing you to show off your fancy footwear. There are currently no reviews for the Sequin Wrap Midi Dress on the Debenhams website, but the fact it has currently sold out in two sizes suggests it’s a popular choice with shoppers.
It’s worth noting that, as the frock is a wrap design, some wearers may find the V-neckline gapes. However, this is easily fixable by adding a simple stitch to keep the dress in place if this is an issue you have.

Alivio Electric Heated Clothes Dryer – was £99.99, now £33.95
My electric heated clothes airer packed in a couple of months ago, so Debenhams’ fabulous 66% discount on Alivio’s heated clothes dryer couldn’t have come at a better time. The folding rack has 20 heating rods that are ‘strategically placed’ to ensure your clothes dry evenly in no time.
Its sleek design means it’ll blend in to the room its situated in, and it can be folded up and put in a storage cupboard or under a bed, out of sight and out of mind. As well as being more environmentally friendly, it’s also a cheaper way to dry your clothes, with the gadget utilising heated air instead of traditional tumble drying methods.
While some Debenhams shoppers found the gadget to be ‘not very sturdy’, one delighted customer awarded it five stars and said: “Best buy for drying clothes. Got it on sale for £40 and it’s brilliant for drying clothes. Haven’t had to use the tumble dryer. Cheap to run on electric too.”

SHEONLY Large Cosmetic Organiser Box – was £89.99, now £21.99
I own many beauty products with skincare and makeup scattered all over my bedroom and piled in drawers. This elegant large cosmetic organiser is perfect for keeping your favourite products in one place, and I love the fact you can see inside the top section, making it easy to find specific items.
The organiser currently has a huge 76% discount and is dustproof and waterproof. It has three drawers perfect for keeping lipstick, mascara, eyeshadow palettes and more in one place, while the top section can store liquid items in an upright position, such as foundation, cleanser and perfume.
There’s only one review for the Large Cosmetic Organiser Box on the Debenhams website, and unfortunately it isn’t positive, with the buyer explaining: “Not very good quality. Cheap materials used. Drawers aren’t very big. The top opens awkwardly and it is difficult to get things in and out.”
However, it’s bound to suit other people’s needs, especially as it has a handy carry handle. This makes it easy to transport from your bedroom to the bathroom, or for taking away with you. With a £68 saving, I think it’s worth every penny.

Regatta Andel III Lightweight Quilted Jacket – was £100, now £30
Everybody needs a reliable jacket to keep them warm and dry throughout the winter months. Debenhams is offering big discounts on a variety of coats, including this Regatta Quilted Jacket which has 70% off and captured my attention due to it looking functional yet stylish.
The coat is available in several stunning colours and comes in sizes eight to 20. It has a durable water-repellent finish, an adjustable hood, an elasticated waist and zipped pockets.
One Debenhams shopper awarded the jacket five stars and wrote: “Just what I wanted for a recent trip… Very lightweight and great for in-between weather conditions. Fit is flattering.” However, they did go on to note: “A bit confused over the inner pockets not being sewn at the bottom? Otherwise very pleased with the product and service.”
