Ian Watkins and Ian Huntley are two notorious prisoners who were recently murdered behind bars but one ex-inmate who served in a ‘Monster Mansion’ believes copycat killings could follow
A former inmate who served in the same ‘Monster Mansion’ as Soham killer Ian Huntley has named three more prisoners who he believes will suffer a similar “ferocious” fate.
Huntley will be cremated in the coming days after he died following a prison attack inside HMP Frankland that left him blind and unrecognisable.
Now, Ricky Killeen, who once served in Frankland for his part in a machete attack, believes more grisly deaths may occur behind bars. Ricky now runs Behinds Bars TV where he gets insights from inside UK prisons, and in his latest video he spoke about “the three I think are the most likely targets”.
Before naming the three, he said prison murders are usually committed by inmates doing life without parole who have “nothing to lose” and want to gain some fame.
He added to his 131,000 subscribers: “That is what these horrible creatures crave, they crave the notoriety, they crave the notoriety from the crimes that they committed in the first place, so now that they are in prison, and they see other prisoners getting the notoriety, they are wanting a piece of it themselves.”
Wayne Couzens
Wayne Couzens murdered Sarah Everard five years ago and the former police officer is reportedly on the same VP (vulnerable person) wing as Huntley was before his attack.
And speaking about the inmate, Ricky said: “Wayne Couzens is one of the ones who I think is a number one target to be offed inside of prison, for the simple fact that he is an ex-copper — and when he abducted Sarah Everard off the street, took her away, murdered her in the most horrible, disgusting way, then obviously raped her whilst he was murdering her, what an absolute monster.
“Coppers in prison, coppers like him, are a target anyway.”
Ricky also claimed Couzens had been asking for extra protection and last month a source told The Sun: “He’s petrified. He’s told people he fears he’ll be next and is the number one target now after the Huntley attack.”
Before the Huntley murder, Ricky also claimed that Couzens used to “swagger” about the wing while trying to tell officers what to do.
Mark Bridger
It has been 13 years since heartless Mark Bridger abducted and murdered five-year-old April Jones. Ricky believes he is a high-profile target for inmate vigilantes in another ‘Monster Mansion’ prison – HMP Wakefield.
He said: “[Bridger] has been attacked on a couple of occasions, but not very seriously, he is definitely a target.”
Ricky added: “So Mark Bridger, who murdered that five-year-old innocent little girl, and her remains have never been found, that horrible… I will keep my words civilised.”
Despite her body never being found, fragments of her remains were discovered in Bridger’s home, and April’s older sister recently spoke about the tragedy.
Hazel Jones, 31, recalled her last moments with April to the MailOnline, saying: “She was in the kitchen, she was with my dad and they were making hot chocolate, and laughing. She was wearing army pyjamas.”
She added: “But that was the last time I ever saw her. But I wish I knew that was the last time. I wish I knew that was going to be my last ever time having a normal life.”
Roy Whiting
Roy Whiting is serving a life sentence in Wakefield after he murdered Sarah Payne, who was just eight-years-old, back in 2000.
And referencing the killer, Ricky said: “The next one who has been attacked on a few serious occasions is Roy Whiting.
“Roy Whiting is an absolute beast, predator, despicable, horrible wrong-un. I’ve spoken about him previously getting attacked on a few different occasions, but Roy Whiting will eventually be offed.
“He will be a target inside of that prison [HMP Wakefield]. They are hunting him down.”
And clarifying what he meant by that, he added: “What I mean is inside the minds, inside the minds of some of these killers inside of prison who are not getting released.
“They are hunting these despicable wrong-uns down inside their minds. They’re planning things. They’ve got things running through their minds. They are thinking how they can do it.”
Ricky named other infamous prisoners, but for various security reasons, said they would unlikely be targeted, but as for the above named, he concluded: “These are the three that I think are the most high profile to be attacked.”
