Shopping writer Lauren tried Victoria Beckham Beauty’s most iconic products to see which ones can truly survive the summer heat
I grew up knowing Victoria Beckham as Posh Spice, but these days she’s arguably better known as the powerhouse behind one of the beauty industry’s most coveted luxury brands. Victoria Beckham Beauty has earned a massive following for its high-performance formulas, elevated packaging, and effortless approach to modern makeup.
Fans will likely know its viral heroes – including the Satin Kajal Liner and Vast Lash Mascara – but with so many bestsellers to choose from, it’s not always easy to know where to start. In fact, despite working as a beauty writer, I’d somehow never properly tested the brand until recently.
Over the last couple of months, I’ve been wearing a handful of the brand’s top-rated products everywhere from casual lunch dates to dinners with my boyfriend. Here are the three that made the cut – and how they fared on a sticky pub evening during one of the hottest nights of the year:

Victoria Beckham Beauty delivers luxury, high-performance makeup wrapped in elevated packaging for an effortless, modern look.
BabyBlade Eyebrow Pencil – £33
This brow pencil is arguably my favourite product from Victoria Beckham Beauty. Its ultra-fine tip makes it incredibly easy to mimic individual brow hairs, so I can shape and fill my brows exactly how I like without overdoing them.
I went for the light brown shade, though, as a blonde, I probably should have opted for a slightly lighter shade, as it can look a touch deep on bare skin. However, once the rest of my makeup is on, it blends beautifully and looks super natural.
I also love that it comes with a spoolie to brush hairs into place before and after application. Most impressively, it lasts all day – to the point I’ve stopped taking it out with me because I trust it won’t budge.
Satin Kajal Liner – £33
Next up is the Satin Kajal Liner, arguably the product Victoria Beckham Beauty is best known for. It promises to be waterproof, crease-resistant, smudge-proof and long-lasting – basically, everything you want in an eyeliner.
Though I usually reach for liquid eyeliner, I’ve been won over by this creamy pencil formula (I opted for the Cocoa shade). It glides on effortlessly, delivers rich pigment in one swipe and instantly makes my eye look brighter and more defined. Plus, the built-in smudger is brilliant for creating a soft smoky eye in seconds.
When I wore it out, the eyeliner transferred ever so slightly beneath my eyes by the end of the night – but considering the heat, it was barely noticeable. True, my trusty Laura Mercier Translucent Hydrating Setting Spray (£25.95, Sephora) may deserve some credit – but all in all, I was seriously impressed.
My only criticism is that I’d love the pencil to be a little slimmer, as it can be tricky to create a sharp wing or precise line. My go-to for a good ol’ wing is Maybelline’s Tattoo Liner Ink Pen Eyeliner (£8.99, Boots), though admittedly the longevity isn’t as great as the Satin Kajal Liner.
Posh Lip – £37
The Posh Lipstick has quickly become another favourite. Housed in a luxurious tortoiseshell case that feels every bit as premium as its price tag suggests, the formula is silky, creamy, and incredibly comfortable on the lips.
I usually gravitate toward matte lipsticks, but this satin finish makes my lips look fuller and healthier without any of that dreaded stickiness. It’s highly buildable, too, meaning I can swipe on a sheer wash of colour during the day or layer it up for a richer evening look.
However, it doesn’t quite boast all-night staying power. During my pub wear test, I had to reapply it after a couple of drinks, which isn’t unusual for a standard lipstick – though I was a little disappointed given the nearly £40 price tag.
My chosen shade, Spark – a gorgeous, mid-tone warm rose – is the ultimate balance between everyday and occasion wear. Unfortunately, it’s currently out of stock, but Jump (a mid-tone cool rose) is a brilliant, similar alternative.
