We review Lisa Eldridge’s Seamless Enhancing Skin Tint after finding out it was used on the cast of The Devil Wears Prada 2
Fashion and beauty have gone hand in hand with The Devil Wears Prada right from when the first movie hit the big screen back in 2006. Impossibly glossy hair, perfect skin, wardrobes worth more than most London flats– every detail matters. So when I heard Lisa Eldridge’s Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint had been used in the new 2026 sequel, I had to get my hands on it.
After all, if any product could survive the scrutiny of Miranda Priestly’s world, it would need to make skin look polished, expensive and entirely effortless. Surely it had to be worth the £39 price tag, right?
After testing it for a week, I’m happy to report this is very good make-up – and I know just how hard it is for skin tints to do everything you want from them. Many disappear within an hour, cling to dry patches or leave behind an oily sheen masquerading as ‘radiance’. Lisa Eldridge’s formula avoids every common pitfall. The texture feels silky and lightweight, yet still offers enough coverage to blur redness and even out tone without masking it completely.

Plus, the formula is made up of 78% skincare ingredients, so you can be sure it’s doing your complexion good while you’re wearing it.
The first time I tried it, I swatched it on the back of my hand before applying it with a brush, and was immediately worried the texture was just too watery. But blending it in – and this didn’t take much effort at all – I quickly noticed fresher, smoother skin. My freckles remained visible, but my pores looked softened. Dare I say, ‘my skin but better’.
The finish is an in-between of natural and softly luminous. Not shiny, not flat, not overly dewy– healthy. By midday, my skin still looked balanced rather than slick, which rarely happens with lightweight complexion products. I did put some powder over my T-zone, but you might not need this if you don’t have as oily skin as I do.
Most sheer bases fade unevenly by late afternoon, particularly around the nose and chin. This held up remarkably well, keeping the coverage and glow without separating or settling into fine lines. Even after a full workday, my skin still looked fresh.
As for the shade range, it’s impressive for a skin tint. Many on the market offer fair, medium, and dark as options, but Lisa’s Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint offers 20 shades to suit all tones. You can even select shades for warm or cool undertones.
A quick scan of the product page on Lisa Eldridge’s website shows that Meryl and I aren’t the only two impressed with this tint. In fact, it’s got an average star rating of 4.9, with 1,500 of the 1,650-odd testimonials giving it full marks.
Though it’s not the priciest product as it is, falling in the mid-price category, if you’re looking for something slightly cheaper, but that still sits in the skincare-infused tint category, The Ordinary’s Serum Foundation , £6.40, is an excellent alternative.
