Shopping writer Lauren breaks down her favourite beauty products from the celebrity-approved brand
Rodial has a massive reputation in the beauty world, with fans said to be ranging from A-list pop stars to the Princess of Wales. But with some of its creams hitting a staggering £750, it’s usually the kind of brand most of us just window shop online.
That said, Rodial is the one brand I’m actually obsessed with. I recommend it to my friends, my family, and basically anyone who will listen, and I use at least one of their products every single day without fail.
While it is definitely a luxury treat, I’ve found that a few specific hero products really do live up to the hype and are worth the splurge. I’ve rounded up my absolute favourites below; the ones I genuinely use, adore, and wouldn’t want to be without.

Rodial is famous for its array of skincare and beauty heroes, including Dragon’s Blood Sculpting Gel, Banana Lowlighter and Bee Venom Eye Patches.
Banana Makeup Kit – £31.50 (was £45)
If there’s one Rodial product I’d implore anyone to try, it’s this. The Banana Makeup Kit is the brand’s cream of the crop and features two of its biggest bestsellers: the Banana Lowlighter and the Glass Powder.
The lowlighter is a dual-purpose concealer and colour corrector that instantly gives me a brighter, fresher look, ready to take on the day. The Glass Powder, on the other hand, is undoubtedly the best setting powder I’ve ever used. It effectively blurs pores, smooths skin and delivers a flawless finish that lasts for hours, the Manchester Evening News reports.
It even includes a mini powder puff for effortless application; a small detail, but one that makes a significant impact.
Vit C Brightening Cleansing Pads – £49
Vitamin C ranks high among my favourite skincare ingredients, particularly when my skin appears dull or fatigued. These brightening cleansing pads are the latest addition to my Rodial collection, recommended by a fellow beauty journalist, and I can certainly see why.
With just a single swipe, they diligently cleanse, brighten, and gently renew the skin. Starting my day with one truly makes a difference: my skin feels rejuvenated, thoroughly clean and noticeably more radiant. They also carry a slight citrus scent, adding a luxurious spa feel.
Rodial suggests using one pad both morning and night, but given their price tag, I reserve them for morning use. In the evening, I switch to Medik8’s Vitamin C Tetra Serum (£45, Look Fantastic) for a quick glow boost before bedtime.
Lip Oil SPF 15 – £35
I’ve only really fallen for lip oils over the past year. I’ve always been a matte lipstick kind of girl, but this little treasure has completely changed my mind.
Rodial’s lip oil comes in subtle, earthy shades of peach, muted brown, and terracotta, delivering a sexy yet sophisticated finish. I usually apply lip liner first, then layer on the oil to plump everything out. The result is a hydrated, glossy, fuller-looking pout that makes me feel confident and put-together.
Full disclosure: it is a bit sticky, and I’ve definitely had a few ‘hair stuck to my lips’ moments in windy weather. But I’ve never felt more confident than when I’m wearing this lip oil, so I’d say it’s a small price to pay.
Otherwise, another alternative I like is Laneige’s Tinted Lip Serum (£12.95, Sephora). It’s still quite sticky, but I’m a sucker for its lightweight, glossy texture and range of shades.
