The Give Me Cosmetics bundle has been hailed ‘really good value’ by shoppers and includes a celeb-loved hair mask, so one beauty writer put it to the test
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, buying beauty treats is the ideal way to give a hard-working mum or mother figure a little pamper. With many options proving costly, one beauty box stands out, with each product inside working out at just £3 each.
As a beauty writer, there’s plenty of budget-friendly buys I think rival their more expensive counterparts, but I did wonder just what the products in the Give Me Cosmetics Mother’s Day Bundle would be like, given that each one costs less than the price of a takeaway coffee.
Give Me Cosmetics’ bundle includes a mix of ten skincare, haircare and makeup products. Inside, shoppers can expect to find Give Me Cosmetics’ viral bestselling Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, a pink hairbrush, and the iconic Hair Mask which is a favourite of actress Michelle Keegan.
There’s also a luxury cleansing balm created to rival cult classics such as Clinique and Elemis, which is ideal for a double cleansing routine. Beauty enthusiasts can then follow up with the hydrating eye cream, and those who love summery scents will no doubt be pleased to discover the new launch body oil and matching body spray in the irresistible Sol de Janeiro-inspired fragrance, Caramel Vacay.
Mums who love makeup will also be pleased to discover the brand’s lip oil and lip liner, which are personal favourites of mine. It comes as little surprise then, that the box boasts a perfect five star review score on the Give Me Cosmetics website.

I’ll get straight to the point with the highlights of the Give Me Cosmetics box, because one item was a standout. As something of a lip product connoisseur, I’m super fussy when it comes to my favourites.
The lip oil in the set is absolute perfection, featuring a cooling applicator and a glossy semi-sheer flattering pink finish. The lip liner also gave good colour payoff, something I wasn’t expecting as I’m super loyal to a minimal selection of liners that I’ve curated over a number of years.
Not only was the liner a wearable and universally flattering pink hue, it also wouldn’t budge. So much so, even after washing my hands it was still in place which seriously impressed me given its price point in the set.
My one downside is that as expected due to its body mist formula, the caramel vacay spray didn’t last long on the skin, however it definitely put a spring in my step now that the UK has welcomed some much-needed sun. The scent immediately transported me to a sun lounger on holiday while sipping on a cocktail.
The body oil smells equally delectable making them the ideal duo for layering post bath. The shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling clean, with the former proving easy to lather on my day-two hair.
One of the products I was especially keen to get my mitts on was the hair mask, which is a favourite of Michelle Keegan, whose locks always look flawless. The mask does say it should be applied from roots to tips but as I have nano ring extensions I applied it to the mid lengths and ends only.
I have to admit, the lengths of my extensions are dry and in need of a trim, and I definitely noticed a smoother-feeling finish to them after using it. My only gripe with most hair masks is that they often need ample time to soak in before rinsing which I find a faff when I’m in a hurry. But the results were noticeable so I think it would be a great addition to a Mother’s Day pamper night.
As for the hairbrush, I was pleasantly surprised with the design which worked well for teasing through my long hair extensions without feeling as if they’re being tugged on. The cleansing balm and eye cream are nice additions with a delicate pleasant scent and easy to use formula, though I’d need to test the latter for longer to see results.
Overall, this box represents incredible value for money in my opinion. Often I’m sceptical of bundles as they can be full of ‘filler’ products that don’t perform and end up wasted, but this genuinely wasn’t the case with Give Me Cosmetics.
