The French Connection rollneck dress comes in black and beige colourways
The winter sales are underway, and if you are looking for some new bits to spend your Christmas money on, Debenhams has lots of offers that are worth looking into. The women’s clothing section on the retailer’s website tends to sell out of sizes pretty quickly, especially when it comes to dresses.
But while browsing through the latest deals, we spotted a French Connection jumper dress that has been significantly reduced and is available in all sizes. The Cosy Roll Neck Knitted Jumper Dress has been significantly slashed by £35 – now on offer for £40, was £75.
The roll-neck knit is available in camel or black colours, with extra small, small, medium, large and extra large sizes up for grabs. The dress sits slightly above the knee and would look lovely this winter with tights and boots.

One shopper left a four-star review for the designer dress. They wrote: “It’s a lovely warm dress, fits like a glove.”
The shopper added that its worth stretching out the neckline prior to wearing, adding: “The only thing I didn’t like is that the roll neck was too tight, so I had to stretch it a little. Then it fit great.”
Another four-star reviewer had the same advice about the roll-neck jumper dress, they commented: “Lovely dress, incredibly soft. However, the neck is very tight.”
There aren’t currently any lowly rated reviews of the jumper dress, and aside from mentions of the neck being tight, no other drawbacks have been reported by customers. However, one downside is that the dress comes in one length, with no petite or tall options available.
Alternatively, this M&S Mini Column Dress is suitable for shoppers who need a tall or petite option. The textured, midi dress has a collar and buttons down the centre.
Priced at £27.50, it is available in a regular length option too. Choose from chocolate brown or black colours.
The Markies model pairs the chocolate brown dress with these £79 Kitten Heel Pointed Toe Knee High Boots. They’re available in sizes 3,4,5,6 and 8.

Other standout knitted dresses in the Debenhams sale include this olive green ‘Adeline’ V Neck Knit Dress. The jumpers dress is by Threadbare and is £10 off – now £40, was £50.

If you prefer brighter colours, this eye-catching pink midi dress from Dusk is on offer for £54, originally priced at £60.
The cheerful knitted dress has a scallop design around the neckline and a collar. You can buy it from Debenhams, or get it even cheaper at Roman where it’s been discounted to £35 – working out at almost £20 cheaper than the Debenhams reduction.
Speaking of Roman, the fashion brand has just launched a New Year’s Eve party clothing page ahead of December 31. As expected, you’ll find lots of sparkly dresses and tops to wear for the evening on celebrations.
Stand-out options include this sequin top, which is available in navy and magenta colours. The high neckline features a trendy keyhole cut-out design, while the sleeveless style adds a touch of sophistication.
What’s more, it’s currently on sale for £34, knocked down from £38. You can choose from sizes 10-20.
