Make a statement by wearing accessories in this summer’s hottest shade on the high street, from brands such as Marks & Spencer, New Look and Oliver Bonas
Red is one of fashion’s hottest hues for summer 2025, but if you’re not used to wearing such a bold colour, it can be a little daunting.
If you’re unsure, our top tip is to start by just adding a small flash of the colour into your outfit, rather than go full-on head-to-toe whether that be with a T-shirt, a pair of earrings or a lipstick (red pairs brilliantly with white, cream and tan other items of clothing).
To help to give you some summer inspo, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite red items and accessories for the season…

Jo Malone London Red Hibiscus Cologne Intense
£116 from Lookfantastic
Finish off with a spritz of this gorgeous scent from Jo Malone, which is a favourite with our beauty editor Laura. “Inspired by ‘a rare and vivid flower in a tropical forest’, the key notes in this scent are mandarin, red hibiscus and vanilla. For me, it’s far less floral than its name suggest, with the vanilla coming through far stronger to create a warm, summery, almost sun cream-like scent, with very subtle hints of florals and citrus,” she says. “I’d place it firmly into the ‘solar scent’ category that’s popular at the moment – and I haven’t stopped reaching for it this summer.”
