Shoppers were thrilled by the items which come in two different sizes
Home Bargains shoppers are already preparing for the next celebration, just weeks after Christmas was packed away for another year. New homeware has been released that has been branded “perfect” for the upcoming Easter weekend in April.
Fans of the discount store were thrilled by the arrival of the Easter eggs that aren’t meant to be eaten, as they are made of decorated glass. The items come with pastel pops of blue, pink and purple in a speckled design – ideal for adding a touch of spring to a home interior.
Posting on the official Home Bargains Instagram feed with an “alert”, a spokesperson said: “Easter sparkle, sorted. Our confetti glass Easter eggs and bunny décor are the perfect way to add a pop of colour to your spring styling. Add fairy lights for an instant glow-up.”
The post also shared prices that shoppers can expect to pay for these glass items, with eggs starting from £4.99 for the smaller version or going big for £7.99. The matching bunny rabbit piece of decor only came in one size (roughly the same height as the small egg) and costs £4.99.
People were quick to share their joy at the new items, which took an already trending pattern and gave it a spring theme. One said: “Ohhhh, they are so beautiful. Hurry up payday!”
Another wrote: “Super cute. It all looks stunning!” A third person put: “My bank balance can’t take any more!”
Someone else commented: “Omg the bunny rabbit is incredible!” A fifth Home Bargains fan asked: “Are they open at the bottom to put lights in does anyone know?”
The items, which are currently not available to look up on the Home Bargains website, are apparently able to hold lights through an opening at the bottom of each egg. This allows homeowners to easily style the pieces with some battery-powered fairy lights for added sparkle.
The display was complemented by a huge Easter wreath that wasn’t mentioned in the video, but shoppers were asking for details. The huge Tulip Wreath that “instantly brightens the space” is available online for £9.99 but the website does not include any measurements
Home Bargains fans should not be shocked by the arrival of Easter as early as January in the discount store, although one giant set of items has taken over social media lately. For some people, this massive Easter decoration could be the same size as them – if not taller. The store recently released a range of 5-foot-tall bunny statues with two designs available.
Home decor fans can choose between a male or female bunny, which are priced at £59.99 each. The giant bunnies have been featured in multiple viral videos, as shoppers are desperate to buy the decorations for their homes and businesses.
