Harry Potter remake teaser trailer drops as fans get new look into the wizarding world

HBO released the first official trailer for its eagerly anticipated Harry Potter TV series this week, reigniting Potter-mania across the muggle world. Wizarding fans will have to wait until the end of the year for season one though, based on JK Rowling’s first book, Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone.

However, there is a way for excited folk to get into the magical spirit early, thanks to a triple offer from Crocs. The popular footwear brand, known for its comfortable slipper-like shoes, sells a pair of Harry Potter Gryffindor Classic Clogs.

Usually £69.99, the Harry Potter Gryffindor Classic Clogs are on sale for £41.99. On top of this, Crocs is offering a 10% discount that is automatically applied at checkout.

In a third and final deal, money-saving platform TopCashback is giving new members a £15 sign-up bonus. The three offers combined allows new members of TopCashback and all customers of Crocs to buy the shoes for £21.22, after cashback.

For existing members of TopCashback and all customers of Crocs, the shoes will be £36.22, after cashback. The Harry Potter Gryffindor Classic Clogs are available in men’s and women’s sizes, from 3 up to 11.

Shoppers can buy the Crocs Harry Potter Gryffindor Classic Clogs for £21.22, after cashback when shopping via TopCashback.

Described as ‘incredibly light and fun to wear’, the all-black clogs have a Gryffindor-themed colourway of burgundy and amber. They are water-friendly and feature the classic ventilation holes. Harry Potter jibbitz can be bought separately.

Shoppers can skip a trip to Diagon Alley for alternative merchandise. Over at Argos, this Harry Potter Knight Bus LEGO set (499-piece) is now £36, down from £45. It includes five figures, including Harry Potter, Ernie Prang, Stan Shunpike and sleeping witch minifigures, plus a Padfoot figure.

Over at Very, the complete JK Rowling Harry Potter book collection is reduced to £37.99, down from £49.99. All seven bestsellers are included, and there’s a redesigned case by famed illustrator Jonny Duddle.

Back to footwear and the Harry Potter Gryffindor Classic Clogs have rave reviews from muggle fans, many of whom have bought them as a gift for a loved one. One shopper said: “They were a present and my daughter loved them.”

Another pleased buyer remarked: “I bought these Crocs as an alternative to my worn-out everyday Crocs and I love them. The design is simplistic, but still recognisable. The shoes are comfy in typical Croc fashion.”

A third customer said: “My son finds comfort with socks or without.” Not everyone was pleased; one person rated them two stars because they found the shoes ‘too wide’.

An additional shopper was more enthusiastic, saying: “The stylistic-ness is outstanding, PERIOD!” One user simply concluded: “Very comfortable and cute.”

How to get Harry Potter Gryffindor Classic Clogs for less with TopCashback:

  • Sign up as a new member at Top Cashback for free using this link
  • Search for Crocs on the site, click through and buy the item normally.
  • Get £15 cashback when you spend £15 or more on an item.
  • The cashback will track to the TopCashback ‘Earnings page’ within seven days of purchase.
