Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has been in fine form for England at this summer’s World Cup

Harry Kane has a chance to lead England to the World Cup semi-finals on Saturday evening. The striker, 32, has been in inspired form at this summer’s tournament.

The ex-Tottenham Hotspur marksman has scored six goals and registered one assist so far, making him a leading contender for the tournament’s Golden Boot. Thomas Tuchel will be hoping his captain can come with the goods once again when England face a formidable Norway side in the mouth-watering World Cup quarter-final clash.

Kane is the face of the Three Lions and on course to be the nation’s greatest ever player, but how much do fans know about the Bayern Munich forward? Here, Mirror Football takes a closer look at Kane.

Harry Kane’s net worth

The Bayern star has a staggering net worth of around £110million, making him the United Kingdom’s 10th-richest sportsperson. He pocketed huge wages from his former club, Spurs.

His lifetime global endorsement deal with Skechers after leaving Nike is said to have banked him a hefty amount. Another business Kane has a hand in is HK28. HK28 is described on LinkedIn as dealing in “specialism across sport, business, entertainment and charity sectors’. The business is believed to have assets of £10.2m.

A massive portion of his financial growth came from his August 2023 move to Bayern. His four-year contract reportedly pays him a base salary of roughly £24m per year. He also owns a portfolio of personal property and manages a company that manages his image rights.

Harry Kane’s childhood sweetheart wife

Harry and Kate Goodland’s love story goes way back to their childhood in east London. The couple have now been married since 2019 and share four children: Ivy Jane Kane, Vivienne Jane, Louis Harry and Henry Edward.

However, they first met while attending Larkswood Primary School before both going on to study at Chingford Foundation School in Waltham Forest. Kane has previously admitted he feels fortunate to have found his partner before he became a footballing superstar.

He told the Evening Standard: “If I was single now and meeting people, you’d never know if they were with you for the right reasons. Is it the money? You’d never really know. So I’m lucky that I’ve got a childhood sweetheart.”

The England icon proposed during a holiday in the Bahamas in 2017. Two years later, in June 2019, they married during an intimate ceremony at an undisclosed location.

Neither have revealed exactly where the wedding took place, choosing instead to keep the celebrations largely private. However, they did share several photographs from the day with fans online.

Harry Kane’s German mansion

Kane’s move to Germany in August 2023 saw the forward relocate to Germany on his own while preparations were made for his family to join him later.

Kate and the children eventually relocated to Bavaria, where they now live in a luxury home in one of Munich’s most exclusive residential areas, known as Grunwald.

The location is known as the “Beverly Hills of Bavaria”. The huge £30m residence reportedly sits on the edge of a forest with panoramic views over the river.

It’s said to be equipped with its own spa. The home has previously been lived in by ex-Bayern stars Mehmet Scholl and Lucas Hernandez.
