An air ambulance was sent to Hackney last night alongside two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a tactical response unit.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.17pm yesterday (May 25) to reports of a stabbing on Towpath Walk, Hackney.
“We sent two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and members of our tactical response unit. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“Despite the best efforts of our team to save his life, the patient sadly died at the scene.”
