Taylor Meanley was just 17 when he used a shotgun to murder Lewis Williams, 20, in South Yorkshire. He’s since appeared in rap videos made behind bars under the name T Shotz

A remorseless murderer is “gloating” about his crimes and a love of guns in chilling rap videos made in prison.

Taylor Meanley was just 17 when he gunned down Lewis Williams in a drive-by attack, shooting his victim in the neck. He was sentenced to 27 years behind bars for the murder in Mexborough, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, 2021.

Mr Williams was targeted in a “planned execution” because of his links to a gang known as the Pitsmoor Shotta Boys. He suffered “catastrophic” injuries in the attack and died from wounds to his neck and chest.

Now 20, Meanley, is still taunting his victim’s family from inside jail, where he’s appeared in rap videos under the name T Shotz. Sick lyrics include apparent references to the murder and shotguns.

The videos were shared on Instagram, amassing the profile more than 10,000 followers, but they have since been taken down. Clips showed Meanley dressed in casual clothes inside his cell, making gun gestures at the camera.

In one picture, Meanley was seen grinning next to the text “away for life cos I took his life” along with a gun emoji. Another twisted post, apparently referencing a fellow inmate’s crimes, was captioned: “We put Donny on the map 3 murders let go.”

The videos surfaced in February 2025 and Meanley was still posting in November, MailOnline reported.

The lyrics in one depraved rap include: “From young I’ve been silly, always kept my hands on it… Always loved my shotties [shotguns] and my handguns. Slide round to mine and get banged on [shot]. All you cap [fake] rappers – you don’t bang guns or slang [sell] drugs, I don’t listen.”

Meanley has said he “probably” blamed the PlayStation and games like Call of Duty Black Ops 3 for his sick obsession with shootings. Another horrifying piece of footage appeared to show a lag being stabbed with a dart.

Shortly after being jailed, Meanley’s dad Mike told his son that he was “proud” of him. He responded to one of his posts online, saying: “That’s my boy and I am so proud of you. Stay strong. F*** them all.” He added: “Love you son with all my heart. We’ve even got same coat lol.”

After his conviction, Mr Williams’s mum Sandra said the family were “totally broken without him”. Her victim impact statement read: “To lose a child is something no parent should have to go through – I feel lost and as if a part of me is missing. I don’t know how I’m ever going to be able to fix this.”

Jack Parkes was also jailed for murder after the killing, while Joe Anderton and Arlind Nika were jailed for manslaughter.

Det Ch Insp James Axe said the defendants had lied throughout the trial, claiming there was no plan to kill Mr Williams. He said they had “not only endangered the life of Lewis, but also his associates and the broader public, going about their lawful business”.

A Prison Service spokesperson told MailOnline: “Victims and their families deserve better than to see perpetrators gloating about their horrific crimes on social media. Any offender caught with a phone in prison will face punishment, which could include additional time behind bars.”
