One brand is paying customers £5 towards any cafe drink this Bank Holiday weekend to help keep Brits cool during the scorching heatwave
Summer has arrived early as the UK swelters in a Bank Holiday heatwave. With temperatures up to 33°C expected across parts of the country this weekend, one brand is offering Brits the opportunity to claim a free iced coffee to stay cool.
The offer comes from TopCashback, which is giving customers £5 back when they spend £5 on a drink from any cafe. To take advantage, shoppers simply need to set up a TopCashback account through this link and upload a photograph of their drink receipt.
Once completed, TopCashback will credit £5 into the account to cover the cost of the drink. The promotion is exclusively available to new TopCashback members or those without any prior purchases or cashback earnings through the platform.
When submitting a receipt photograph, ensure visible information includes the purchase date and time, the cafe’s name, and the qualifying item bought for cashback. Bear in mind, a TopCashback member can only claim one new member promotion, encompassing Snap and Save, Freebie offers and registration bonuses.
The offer is currently active but will close at 11.59pm on June 30. It comes as TopCashback has unveiled its new Sip and Save Money Guide, providing current members with various tips on reward programmes, freebies and special offers, reports Yorkshire Live.

For those who’d rather prepare their own iced coffee at home, Amazon is selling the Breville Iced Coffee Maker at nearly half price. Reduced from £46.99 to £24.71, the gadget creates single-serve coffee by chilling concentrated, hot-brewed coffee over ice.
Elsewhere, Whittard of Chelsea’s Cold Brew Coffee Bottle is specifically made for brewing and storing chilled beverages, with customers claiming it produces ‘around two large Starbucks cups worth of cold brew’. As for the TopCashback offer, here’s how to secure £5 back on the cost of a coffee.
How to claim a free cup of coffee
- Purchase a drink at any cafe.
- Sign up to TopCashback here.
- Upload a photograph of the cafe receipt displaying the date and time of purchase, cafe name, and the item purchased.
- Cashback will track and appear in the TopCashback account within seven working days.
- It may take up to 30 days to process to payable (the point at which cashback can be withdrawn).
