The foundation which is loved by celebs from Meghan Markle to Rosie Huntington-Whitely is often cited by make-up artists as ideal on mature skin
One of our favourite foundations, loved by celebrities, make-up professionals and beauty editors has been slashed in price. This cult product has a huge celebrity following that includes Megan Markle, Kim Kardashian and model Rosie Huntington-Whitely. Plus it’s favoured by make-up artists for red carpets and star-studded events, thanks to it’s ability to create a lit-from-within glow, without feeling like heavy or caky.
Now, we’ll admit the usual outlay for Armani’s Luminous Silk Perfect Natural Glow Foundation is a rather A-list-ish splurge at £47, but with 20% off it comes down to £39.20.
You’ll need to be speedy, because the offer is only ‘while stocks last’ and this is one popular product, so it’s not going to hang around at this price for long.

Why this foundation is so popular
According to industry professionals, it’s the natural finish of this foundation that makes it such a favourite. Yes, it gives glow, but with a born-like-this effect on the skin, rather than full coverage. It’s sheer and buildable, so you can achieve a smooth, perfected finish, but it still feels like your own skin. Your skin on its very best day.
As a beauty editor with fine lines to cover up, it’s one of my absolute favourites. I apply it with a foundation brush, dabbing over with my fingers afterwards to soften and blur the finish even more. There is a matching primer, but I find it’s great on its own. Though it’s marketed as ideal for all skin types, I would say it’s ideal on my dry skin. My younger (line-free) colleague with combination skin is less keen on it, especially on her oilier patches.
The customer reviews are seriously impressive too, with making talking about how good the foundation is over wrinkles. “As a woman over 40 hiding new wrinkles forming, this is my go to foundation,” says one, while another adds, “Had been looking for a foundation for more ‘mature skin’ and this ticks all the boxes.”
Need something even more affordable? My favourite copycat for this product that I’ve found so far is Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte Foundation, £12.99, but currently (£9.74) with 25% off at Lookfantastic.
