The FA Cup third round is almost over and clubs have now learned who they will take on in the next round with Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea all still among the contenders for the trophy

Aston Villa’s clash with Newcastle leads the headline matches in the fourth round of the FA Cup following Monday’s draw. The draw was hosted ahead of Liverpool’s clash with League One side Barnsley, with every club finding out who they will take on next.

The winners of Monday’s clash will take on Brighton, who ended Manchester United’s FA Cup at the first hurdle. The Reds’ Premier League rivals also now know the next hurdle they will have to pass on the road to Wembley.

Premier League leaders Arsenal overcame a slight scare to thump Portsmouth 4-1 on Sunday and will now take on Wigan at the Emirates. Meanwhile, Chelsea beat Championship side Charlton Athletic 5-1 over the weekend and have been rewarded with an away trip to Hull City.

Manchester City secured a record-breaking 10-1 victory against League Two side Exeter City at the Etihad Stadium and have been drawn to face Salford City or Swindon Town. Newcastle will play Aston Villa after a penalty shootout victory against Bournemouth following a thrilling 3-3 draw.
